Angelina Jolie to Shoot a War Love Story in Bosnia This Fall omg

After spending the spring shooting The Tourist in Venice, Italy, Angelina Jolie will go before the cameras this fall in another European locale: Sarajevo, Bosnia.

The as-yet untitled flick is a romance set against the 1992-1995 Bosnian War, Reuters reports; Jolie, 35, will play one half of a couple that meets just before the savage war begins.

The film is a love story, not a political statement, Jolie said in a statement issue by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees UNHCR, for which the star is goodwill ambassador.

The mother of six made a surprise visit to the Eastern European nation on Saturday, meeting with various leaders there to discuss the plight of returning war refugees.

Jolie added that she wants the films cast to include actors of all ethnicities from the country formerly known as Yugoslavia.

I would like to involve as many local people as possible and learn as much as I can, she said.
